We cannot attack our partner in Team Battle - I had somebody try that at Worlds while I was judging team. They didn't want to flip to use an Eeeeeeek attack so they aimed at their partner.Correct, you cannot attack your teammate. (Jun 12, 2003 WotC Chat, Q1902)
Say in TMP my opponent mulligans, can my partner draw one card...look at it, and then decide weither I will or they will take the 2nd card, or must both cards be drawn at the same time?In Team Multi Play if an opponent mulligans, then you and your teammate can choose to each draw 1 card. For Team Play, if my teammate has Dark Dragonair, Erika's Victreebel, Elekid, etc. in play, may I use their Pokemon Powers during my own turn as well (i.e. can I use my teammate's "Evolutionary Light" to search through my deck during my turn)?No. You cannot. (Mar 21, 2002 WotC Chat, Q54)

Alakazam's Damage Swap: Applying rule #12 [actually Rule #13 in v1.3] allows you to either move a damage counter from one of your Pokemon to another of your Pokemon OR to move a damage counter from one of your teammate's Pokemon to another of his or her Pokemon. You cannot use this power to move a counter from one of their Pokemon to one of yours (or vice versa). (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
Can you use Feraligatr's Downpour for your teammate in TMP?Yes you can. (Feb 20, 2003 WotC Chat, Q41)
In team battle, can I use my Venusaur to switch grass energy between my teammate's pokemon (not moving them between owners)?Yes. (Jun 27, 2002 WotC Chat, Q71)
If you bring out a Dodrio, you must declare whether you are having Retreat Aid targeting YOU or your TEAM MATE. (May 23, 2002 WotC Chat, Q337)
In team battle, can I benefit from my teammate's Meganium's Wild Growth pokemon power?[It] is a continuous Pokemon Power so you must declare when you play that Meganium which player it helps. (Jun 27, 2002 WotC Chat, Q71)
In Team Play, when using Feint Attack against a team with one baby and one non-baby active, can you *attack* the non-baby Pokemon but use the attack's effect against the other opponent's (the one with the baby) Pokemon due to the "your opponent's" clause?Yes. (Aug 1, 2002 WotC Chat, Q255)

In Team Play, if both I and my partner have Misdreavus, can we have Player 1 do "Night Eyes" and Player 2 do "Perish Song" for the KO (providing the opponent is still asleep)? Pichu's Zzzap - in Team Play, does the attack affect all four players in the game, or do you simply pick one player from each team?All four. (Mar 21, 2002 WotC Chat, Q107)
Bill: This trainer card reads - Draw 2 cards. Since there is not a "you" or "your" in this cards text, you CANNOT play this card on a teammate, only on yourself. (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
Double Gust: When you play this card you must first declare which opponent you are using it on. That opponent then gets to decide which Pokemon (yours or your teammate's) gets switched with that player's Active Pokemon. Then you would get to decide which of that opponent's Pokemon gets switched with their Active Pokemon. (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
In Team Play, if a player does something that causes his partner to discard a non-Colorless energy card (say, Pokémon Center) with Ecogym in play, would those non-Colorless energies return to the player's hand?Yes, they would get the energy back. In Team, Player B can play Hyper Devo Spray on Player A and then the next turn (Player A's) they can revolve that Pokemon- correct?Yes. (Jun 19, 2003 WotC Chat, Q2004)
Pokémon Breeder: While it may appear that you could play this card on your teammate, read the last sentence of this card. Other players cannot normally evolve a Pokemon on your turn. So this card can only be played on yourself in this format. (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
Pokémon Trader: You can choose to play this card on yourself or on your teammate on your turn. Your teammate must have a Pokemon in his or her hand in order for you to play it on them though. (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
Professor Elm: You can choose to use this card on yourself or on your teammate during your turn. Either way, the person who is actually playing the card (takes it from his or her hand and discards it) cannot play any more Trainer cards that turn (this is a cost). (WotC Pokemon Multiplayer Rules v1.3, Jul 12, 2002)
When you play a Warp Point in Team Multiplay, how does it work?Play the card as written. The player who uses the card gets to decide which opponent it affects and which member of his or her team it affects. Each of those players gets to choose which Pokemon they switch up from their own bench. (Sep 16, 2002 WotC Rules Team Update, Item 15)
